Learning while you play.....

I had to share this sign that Anna made up for their store today. It says TAX FREE DAY BUY ONE PAY LESS. Think she heard that recently? ha ha

Anna is learning money in school right now. Tonight the girls built a store--seen below--in our living room. When they were done they wanted me to shop in it. They priced everything, had the cash register ready and scanned away. I took the opportunity to have Anna tell me what I owed and how much change she would give me back. It was lots of fun for her and it reinforced what she has been doing. Don't you love it when they are learning and having so much fun they don't even realize it was school--so to speak?!
