Holding a mouse bone!
We are so busy right now! Waiting for things to slow down a bit!!! We dissected an owl pellet--really cool!! We find a mouse inside of it--or what was left of the mouse. It was really fun to identify the bones--we had a guide--and Anna loved figuring out what each one was. We are watching an eagle's nest waiting for the eggs to hatch....cool too.....and school wraps up this week....at least the formal stuff--we love nature here so the animal watching will continue....and the reading......Tired and must go to bed but wanted to leave you with a few pictures.....

Is an owl pellet what I think it is? Ha-Ha! You are a brave woman if it is...and what a good project. Next time you do that invite Maggie!
