Summer fun

We have been so busy having fun that I haven't been on here!!! We have enjoyed some road trips....some closer than others....but all fun! Most recently we went to Dollywood and spent some time in Pigeon Forge. It was hot, hot, hot and crowded and tons of traffic BUT the girls had a ball and we had some good family time!! Lauren was mad that she couldn't ride the big and I mean the BIG coasters!! She didn't want to be bothered with the little rides and was not too happy at having to ride some of the baby rides!!! They had a lot of fun swimming at our hotel too!!!!

Some of the things going on and still to come....VBS--can't say enough about that! If you have the opportunity to put your kids in one--nothing is more important!!! They learn so much and have so much fun learning about God! I love watching their relationship with God grow.....we are going to try and get to Michigan this summer....may have to be shorter than I would like but I would love to make it up there!! Swim lessons--for both--Anna is good but will still benefit from lessons....Lauren is fearless and needs to get some techniques down! I am pretty sure they will both do swim team competitively in the next couple of summers--just not quite up to the travel yet! Of course we are taking advantage of the pool...it is crowded but when it is this hot water has to be involved!!!! Finally, we are still trying to decide what we will do for vacation....maybe a piggy back trip with Thomas' annual golf trip to save on gas!
