Sunday's lesson....

I have to share what we talked about in Sunday School yesterday! I love our class and I think we have the best teacher! Never a dull moment for sure! He always has things that apply to life. Before I get to the actual lesson, I want to share something he said. He thanked everyone for being there--for making the effort to get up and get ready on a rainy Sunday morning.....and the Sunday after Easter. Apparently it is one of the lowest attendance Sundays in the year--and Easter is the highest. (And if you were at church in September of 2001....the Sunday after 9/11 was packed!) Anyway, my point here is that he said God appreciates the effort we make to come together and worship as a body and so did he. I am not patting myself on the back--so don't hear me say that--but it was nice to think I was pleasing God.....and yesterday, I so wanted to stay home....it was rainy....Thomas had worked all night so it was just me but thankfully I went because it was great as always to be there!

So on to the lesson....it pertains to marriage and finances.
Figure out what % of your income you are living on! Do not live on 100%....and if you are cut back...there are always things that are not needed!!! You have to know where you are going or you will never get there!!! So know what % you are living on!

Children will live like you do--teach your children well!!

4 things that are very important to a successful marriage
1. religion (being the same/agreeing on it)
2. in-laws (HAVE to set boundaries!)
3. parenting (how to raise them)
4. money
