Life and living it....that is the blog name and that is what we are doing! In every moment we are trying to enjoy each other....and when we mess up we apologize, ask for forgiveness and move on. I read my friend's blog last night and she is an amazing writer.....check her out at the Rachelle link to the side. Most of the time my eyes never come off what is important but her blog reminded me again....It is most certainly not my house--yes, I am thankful that God has blessed us with our house--it isn't the newest or the biggest but I love it....and it is almost paid for--even better. It isn't the kind of car I drive--I feel blessed to have the cars we do but know that I would drive the oldest thing that was safe for my kids if that is what I had to do to be home with them. It isn't my clothes....if you have known me for a period of time....you know that I have a lot of the same things I did 6-10 years ago. Nope, I don't need the latest fashions....sure it is nice to buy something new from time to time, but again not important.
Who do we want our kids to be....who are we raising them to be? I do not want materialistic, self centered people who think happiness comes from things....things can be lost all to easily....I want them to know love, be loved and live love. I ask God nightly to help me to be a better mom...to help me to teach them what He needs me to...you see I want their relationship with Christ to be as natural as mine is with any one of my good friends....I want them to talk to Him, lean on Him and trust in Him....and I have the pleasure of watching their lives be one with Him.
