Life in fast forward

Funny, I came across my blog today--haven't touched it since 2011. If I thought time was going fast then, I must be moving at the speed of light now!! Anna turned 15--yes she is learning to drive!!!! Lauren is now a teenager--no more babies!!! So very sad at how fast this ride has gone! I love them with all I am and all I have! Yes, we butt heads, no they are not perfect and neither am I! Life lessons continue for all of us. Anna is halfway through 10th grade and Lauren halfway through 7th grade! Zoey--we lost her November 21, 2013....what a sad, sad day in our home! We (I) was not ready for a dog for a year--and then Thomas said no. We missed the love of a dog for 3 years and then we got Zeus. He came home with us December 8, 2016. He is a shih tzu and was born October 19, 2016. The girls have continued with swimming--CAT in the summer and USA all year with McCallie/GPS club team. We travel throughout the year all over the south-east--Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee--for swim meets. We left Westwood Baptist in November of 2015, and while we miss our friends and church family, we were obedient to God and how he has blessed us. We have been attending The Net church since the end of November 2015--they launched the Cleveland campus in September 2015. We have grown as a family in so many ways. Lauren was baptized in August 2016. She asked Christ to be her Saviour on our weekend away in May of 2016.

Weight Loss. Coffee keeps you awake and busy while it zaps the calories you eat. Lots of people guzzle coffee in the morning to jump-start their metabolism—and then tend to snack the rest of the day. A 2008 study published in the International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity found that subjects who drank four to five cups of coffee each day ended up eating around 100 fewer calories during the rest of the day than participants who drank less than three...
