Life moves at a crazy pace

I always laughed when older people said things about how fast time goes by or how I was growing like a weed.....well now that I am a Mommy....I am not laughing! Life is moving at an amazing pace and I just wish it oculd slow down!! I don't want to miss a thing....
This has been another whirlwind year! A year of learning, laughing, and loving! A year of friends, fun ,and freedom! It is hard to watch my girls grow up and harder still to watch them learn life lessons! I hate to see them hurt and it is hard not to hurt those that hurt my babies! I have watched them learn and grow in new ways over 2011...and I am so proud of the direction they are going.

Anna accepted Christ as her Lord several years ago but I wanted to be sure she totally understood what it means. The summer of 2011 she went through Westwood 101 with her Sunday School teacher to be sure she understood everything she was professing. I am so proud of her and she will be baptized in February. She completed 3rd grade and started 4th grade and continues to excel. What a joy she is to teach and have her teach me....I love learning from her and with her. Anna is continuing with violin--her 3rd year--and she loves it.

Lauren continues to be full of spunk....she is funny, fiesty and a little fury!!! I love that girl--my little fireball!! She loves those she loves for all she is worth...she is very loyal and lives life to the fullest--and yse that means she makes me worry...a lot! :) She completed K--graduation and all--and started 1st grade! She is also very bright--just a very different personality! Where Anna likes to show you what she knows--Lauren doesn't care if you know--unless she WANTS to show you! She hasn't done gymnastics since summer started but really has a talent for it....and so I need to find the time to get her back in. :)

They both took up swimming with CAT this summer (Cleveland Aqua Tigers) and have continued competitve swimming classes 3 days a week at the Y. I am amazed at the progress they have made.

As the year ended, we celebrated 2012 with the Orr family--it is tradition--how I love that word! :) I find myself reflecting back on the many blessings...house, food, cars, job, home schooling my kids, health, freedom to worship, good friends, family, husband,--in no particular order and so many more...and feel overwhelmed by how very blessed we are.... written in 2011
